The Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF) provides a coordinated financing mechanism to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Funded by donor countries, and jointly managed by international aid agencies, the Trust Fund helps with priority projects and programs to rebuild Afghanistan and facilitate the return of skilled expatriate Afghans to the country.
The Trust Fund is jointly managed by the World Bank, the  United Nations Development Programme, the Asian Development Bank, and the Islamic Development Bank to simplify the management and oversight of funds for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The ARTF succeeds the United Nations Development Programme Trust Fund.
